COURSES & EVENTS

We organise occasional courses facilitated by external professional artists these are open to everyone but are made available to members at a significantly reduced cost. More experienced members of the group run occasional courses/tuition for members at no cost.

    Watercolour Workshops with Anne Ware

     

    10am – 4pm at Pilton Arts Group studios

     

    Monday 9th Feb:   Creating Atmosphere and Mood – wet in wet, lifting off

    Monday 23rd Feb: Marine/Seascape: sea, boats, seaweed, rocks, wet sand, reflections, foam

    Monday 9th Mar: Portraits and People (clothed) Watercolour portraits; (edges, colour mixes, glazing). People; proportions, light direction, bleeding the head into body, scale

    Monday 23rd Mar: Turn a plein-air sketch into a painting. We’ll go outside for 30 minutes and do some quick sketches to convert into two paintings in the studio.

    Cost

    Members:–  £25 per individual workshop or £90 for all 4 workshops.

    This is a collaborative exhibition of work by members of Pilton Arts Group and North Devon Arts.

    Pop in for a coffee and a browse…we look forward to seeing you.

    Mondays and Thursdays 10am to 12:30 and Tuesdays  6-8pm.
